Gallinghouse Marketing + Creative announced today it has hired Chris Herting as digital and social media specialist. Chris joins the Gallinghouse team after spending four years as Director of Digital Marketing and Social Media at New Orleans-based agency Beuerman Miller Fitzgerald (BMF).
Prior to BMF, Chris arrived in New Orleans by way of the nation’s capital where he held the position of Social Media Manager for the Washington Redskins. His addition brings nearly a decade of professional work experience in various roles developing and executing communication strategies at the highest level including the NFL (Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles), Division I athletics, and nonprofit foundations.
Driven by his passion for digital marketing, social media, and public relations, Chris has experience executing earned, owned, and paid media campaigns for clients ranging in size from nonprofit agencies to Fortune 500 companies. He received his BA in Strategic and Organizational Communications, Public Relations from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.
